I met up with a friend in the city last week with her new baby and she was carrying her in a ring sling that you made. She found it so easy to walk around the Museum, despite all the steps and didn't have to wait for the lift all the time like I did with my pram.
Anyway, we are going overseas to Italy again to visit my inlaws in July and I am thinking about getting a sling to carry my baby who will be 8 months old then. We had to go for two weeks when he was 6 weeks old and Italian cobblestones are not exactly the easiest place to walk let alone drive a pram, so I am very interested in the sling for next time. It will be rather hot then, so I would like something that isn't too bulky.
My friend said that you live only a couple of suburbs from me, so I was wondering if you could make me a sling. I have some gorgeous silk hemp fabric that I would love to use if at all possible.
