Classic OneWet Pants

The classic style of OneWet Pants is a pull-on training pants with sufficient absorbency in the crotch to hold one wetting. The cut is neat and trim around the elasticised legs and the pants fit snugly around the hips and nip in under the waist. If you would like a high-rise style right to the waist, please request it specifically.

These OWP are made with a polar fleece outer for extra protection against wicking into clothing in the event of an accident.

Side snap OneWet Pants

As in the classic style, these training pants are made of fleece fabric with a sewn in absorbent core of towelling topped with soft cotton flannelette with an enclosed PUL water-proof layer. The waist and legs are elasticised for easy pulling down and up.

Polyacetal resin snaps at waist and hip enable you to undo the pants at the sides if required.

As you can see the side snap OneWet Pants have the same trim fit as the classic style.

Side-Snap Pocket Pants

Side-snap Pocket Pants (SSPP) are a versatile pocket version of the popular OneWet Pants. They are cut slightly wider in the crotch compared to OneWet Pants to enable insertion of the absorbent booster. The outer layer is a soft polar fleece (or other fabric on request) and they are completely lined with water-proof PUL and a feel-dry suedecloth liner. A booster can be slid between the suedecloth liner and the body of the pants to absorb any accidents. You can choose how much absorbency is required and boost accordingly.

Side-Snap Pocket Pants are trim, especially when using a hemp or bamboo booster. One hemp booster of three layers is included with each pair of Side-Snap Pocket Pants.

A variation is to have the booster snap in rather than lying in a pocket.

Cotton outer OneWet Pants

(previously known as Summerweight OneWet Pants) are made in the same style as the classic OWP. Because of the finer hand of the fabric, these pants are a sleeker fit than fleece OWP. They consist of two layers of 100% cotton interlock with enclosed inner waterproof PUL and a layer of cotton towelling for absorbency. Upon request hemp or microfibre can be used for absorbency.

The PUL layer prevents puddles on the floor, however moisture may wick into the cotton body of the pants. The two layers of these pants are generally made in contrasting coloured fabrics for a sporty look.

DropFlap OneWet Pants

These training pants, based on the popular OneWet Pants style, are ideal for young babies doing elimination communication. The front flap can be undone for easy pottying, without the whole of the pants falling off and there is no need to pull them down. In cold weather this is particularly handy if the DropFlaps are worn over the top of open crotch pants. The baby stays warm, the pants stay on and pottying is simple.

This image shows a hook-loop closure for the DropFlaps, but I recommend snap fastenings unless you particularly prefer the hook-loop.

There are a couple of options with these pants:

* absorbency sewn in OR with snaps to hold separate snap-in boosters

* fleece body or cotton

DropFlap pants are most useful for baby boys who are not yet mobile.  Once they are moving then most people find the side snap or classic OneWet Pants to be more practical.

DropFlap Pants - $20.00

* soft 100% cotton inner layer against the skin in the crotch area (or suedecloth if you choose a feeldry surface)

* a fully enclosed waterproof layer of PUL in the crotch provides protection from embarrassing waterfalls and puddles on the floor (unless you prefer no PUL)

* fully elasticised waist and legs for ease in pulling down and up

* made to measure for perfect fit for any size of baby and toddler

Construction

Classic, Side-snap and DropFlap OneWet Pants have a sumptuous fleece outer body - as fleece does not absorb moisture, there is little danger of wicking into other clothing but they should still be changed as soon as possible after an accident to help the child to stay dry.  Any of these styles can also be made with PUL outer for a trimmer training pant, however this is not as soft, cuddly or underwear-like.

Cotton outer OneWet Pants have a double layer of cotton interlock in the body, rather than fleece. Consequently they are cooler in hot weather, but will also wick into outer clothing if not changed shortly after an accident.

Sizing

All Noonee Wilga training pants are made to measure from premmie and newborn to extra-large sizes, which means that there is no difficulty in fitting a particularly skinny or chunky infant.

To ensure good fit, I request measurements of the child's waist, hip, thigh and straddle/rise (from belly button, down between legs and up to centre back waist). Young children move a lot so can be very difficult to measure easily so further information about the age and approximate weight of the child helps to confirm the measurements.
